It is more convenient to take a private jeep from Kathmandu instead of a bus. The jeep departs from Kalanki, Kathmandu, and stops at Thulo Phedi. From Thulo Phedi, the hike to the temple takes about 3 hours. Alternatively, various tour packages are available, which are often more advantageous than traveling solo. These packages typically include hotel pickup and drop-off, meals, accommodation, and more.
When to visit?
The best time to visit the temple is during the pre-monsoon months (March to June) and post-monsoon months (September to November). During these seasons, you can enjoy a stunning view of the Sawa waterfall.
